Friday outing
I went on a rafting trip with rebound. My dad is a rafting guide and lead the trip. We put in at Shoshone, stopped at no name creek for lunch and pulled out in south canyon. It was a great raft trip and I had a great time helping my dad guide the boat. I raft every spring and summer. This was late spring of 2012.

senior project
Yampah is a great school, a school that teaches kids life lessons in a way that they can understand and relate to. me personaly I was having a very tough time trusting my teachers and was struggling every day with my anger. Yampah and its staff are very good at helping you identify what is going on in your life and giving you options on how you might be able to fix it.
yampah is not just a school its a home a place where students can come and feel safe, a place where they feel they belong. yampah truly proves that students of all different backgrounds and ethnicities can come together to learn in there own way and live together in their own way.
Yampah has convinced me that tolerance and determination can change the world and help me and all who attend yampah live a fulfilling life.
Thats why in my senior year I decided to create and paint a mural for yampah to remind the students of yampah including myself that no matter how different you are or look/think that you have the same right to success as anyone else and that who you are and what you believe in is very important so ALWAYS believe in yourself and NEVER forget how you are. thats what yampah means to me and thats why I choose to make a mural for my senior project.
My name is Jacob Boatwright today is Friday the 21st of march 2014 I made a mural that says “find your own unique style” followed by “city views, country dreams” there is a outline of a city skyline and a field with a house, there is also a river and a sun. there are flowers in the sky line and there is one rock at each end of the river there is also a becane on top of one of the skyscrapers, i got most of the materials myself and painted it at yampah outside. I loved the idea of doing this for my senior project and am so glad that Rick and Leigh allowed me to do it. long live freedom! long live friendship! long live yampah!
